Discover the abstract art of Yontz
Behind the name Yontz is Jantje Jonkman, an artist from Usquert, where she lives and works. In her studio, monoprints and paintings are created that cannot simply be pinned down. The work usually begins abstractly, but landscape elements often emerge gradually, as if the image is slowly revealing itself. Some of her work is available in the webshop.
Abstract Creations
Intuitive
Yontz works without a rigid plan. Intuition, curiosity, and play guide the way. During the making, the work, as it were, shows the way itself, leading to surprising results.
